To thoroughly implement the requirements of campus safety work and effectively ensure the safety of students' lives and property, on April 30th, the School of Physics and Electronic Science organized a special supervision and inspection of safety and civilization education before the May Day holiday. Led by Du Wei, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee and the secretary of the discipline inspection commission of the college, Fang Fang, the secretary of the Youth League Committee, and all the grade counselors formed an inspection team to conduct safety hazard investigations and civilized safety education in student dormitories and postgraduate study rooms.

The college inspection team visited each building floor by floor and room by room, focusing on checking the use of illegal electrical appliances, the unauthorized connection of wires, the provision of fire-fighting facilities, and the hygiene environment. During the visit, Du Wei had a cordial chat with the students, reminding them to enhance their safety awareness and develop good living habits. In response to the problems such as aging sockets and disorderly stacking of items in some dormitories, on-site safety education and guidance were provided, and immediate rectification was required.

Meanwhile, counselors of each grade have strengthened safety reminders for students' departure from school during the holiday, including traffic and personal and property safety, through theme class meetings, dormitory head meetings and other forms. At the same time, I would like to remind all the students that as the weather gets warmer and the flu is more common, they should pay attention to personal hygiene on campus. Dormitories should be well-ventilated and cleaned frequently to keep them clean and orderly and reduce the breeding of bacteria indoors.

Education is the prerequisite for safety, and safety is the guarantee of education. This special operation effectively strengthened students' awareness of safety responsibility and provided a solid guarantee for teachers and students to have a peaceful and harmonious holiday. Subsequently, the college will continue to adopt multiple measures such as regular inspections, publicity and education, and emergency drills to tighten the safety protection net and promote the construction of a safe campus.
